Attorney Taylor handles all aspects of appellate civil litigation in the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme Courts, and in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. His appellate litigation has encompassed a wide range of issues including constitutional law, contract law, land use and eminent domain, insurance coverage, criminal law, products liability and torts, dissolution of marriage, child custody and parental rights.  He has represented individuals and corporations. Attorney Taylor also counsels clients and attorneys at the trial stage regarding the identification and preservation of issues for appeal.


Attorney Taylor handles civil litigation in Connecticut’s state and federal trial courts, including matters ranging from personal injury to product liability. He provides consultation on creating a trial strategy and in preparing pleadings. ​

Attorney Taylor co-authors Connecticut Insurance Law with Attorneys Dowd and Levesque. He also co-authors The Encyclopedia of Connecticut Causes of Action. Attorney Taylor writes and lectures on appellate and insurance coverage topics and was an adjunct professor at The University of Connecticut School of Law, teaching moot court. 


He is a member of the Defense Research Institute’s appellate and tort and insurance practice sections, the ABA Judicial Division Council of Appellate Lawyers and the American Counsel Association.
